Kerry co-heads real estate and development, and oversees day-to-day operations for Tradepoint. In 2014, he was part of the Redwood Capital investment team that acquired the 3,300 acre Bethlehem Steel facility. Since joining the Tradepoint executive team in 2015, he has been involved in over 8 million square feet of industrial development. Prior to Tradepoint, Kerry worked in private equity where he lead investments in a variety of real estate asset classes and operating businesses.
Marc co-heads real estate and development, and oversees day-to-day operations for Tradepoint. With over 15 years of diversified real estate and financial analysis experience, Marc joined TPA in 2017 as CFO and transitioned to Managing Director in 2020. Prior to Tradepoint, Marc worked in multifamily real estate development, apartment finance, and held various financial and operational consulting roles.
Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs
As a senior executive in public administration, government relations, communications, public affairs and community relations, Aaron directs Tradepoint Atlantic’s corporate affairs and external relations to include government and regulatory affairs, public and community relations, and corporate marketing activities. Prior to Tradepoint Atlantic, Aaron was a Director of Corporate Affairs for Erickson Living, an affiliated company to Tradepoint Atlantic through Redwood Capital Investments. He also served in executive roles in state and local government and as a senior advisor to numerous state and local elected officials.
Chief Financial Officer
Dave oversees our accounting, HR and administrative support teams. He is responsible for all financing activities, along with financial reporting, tax and accounting. Dave joined Tradepoint in 2020 and has over 30 years of accounting and financial experience. Prior to Tradepoint, Dave was CFO of a national medical personnel company, a commercial and residential distressed debt fund and a national propane retailer.
Michael’s extensive experience and successful track record will ensure continued growth at Tradepoint Atlantic. With nearly four decades of experience in the industrial development business, Michael has developed or redeveloped more than 100 million square feet of industrial facilities, airfreight facilities, and major railway intermodals. Michael is the retired CEO and founding partner of CenterPoint Properties Trust.
Vice President – Development
John oversees nearly all facets of Tradepoint Atlantic’s development process. Building off his background in construction management and civil engineering, John provides development management, construction oversight and deal transaction support for Tradepoint Atlantic’s development projects. John also brings extensive experience in project controls, land surveying and land development. Prior to joining the Tradepoint Atlantic team, John served as a Vice President for a Maryland based engineering firm where he established a reputation for successfully delivering complex development projects for a wide variety of public and private sector clients. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Maryland.
Vice President – Development
Kurt is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the development efforts essential to facility operation of the port and marine area at Tradepoint Atlantic. Kurt supports the team in site selection, infrastructure planning and budgeting, lease parcel development, jurisdictional compliance, permitting and scheduling. Prior to joining Tradepoint Atlantic, he served as a Construction Services Manager for AECOM, overseeing heavy civil, heavy marine and industrial/ commercial contracts. Kurt is a certified Project Management Professional.
Vice President – Environmental
Pete works with the Tradepoint Development Team, Marine and Rail Operations, and Site Operations in support of site development, marine port revitalization and dredging, ongoing site operations, and site remediation. Pete works closely with the state and federal agencies overseeing permit acquisition, site remediation, and the preparation of the property for development. Pete manages general environmental compliance for the site and supports business development opportunities. Prior to joining Tradepoint Atlantic, Pete was the Environmental Director overseeing compliance activities and operations for refineries, terminals, retail stations, power plants, and fuels handling operations for Hess Corporation, a Fortune 500 global independent energy company.
Vice President Legal Affairs
Laura oversees all legal functions for the company including leases and land disposition, construction agreements, and business transactions. Prior to joining Tradepoint Atlantic, Laura was Associate General Counsel for The Cordish Companies, a national real estate development company headquartered in Baltimore.
Senior Vice President of Site Operations
Mike is responsible for the power and utility distribution at the facility, interfacing with BGE on all gas and electric projects. He oversees Material Management and Security as well as building maintenance, water distribution, storm and sanitary sewers, operation of the water treatment facility, outfall compliance monitoring, and related agency reports. Managing a utility maintenance and water treatment crew, Mike ensures that Tradepoint Atlantic and active tenants are provided with utilities as the site is redeveloped. He coordinates with Baltimore Gas Electric, and Baltimore City on utility provisions to the site. Mike has over 46 years of experience at Sparrows Point being the Division Manager for the Power and Utility Department and held various management positions in Steelmaking and Environmental Departments at the former steel mill.
