Dear TPA Team Members:
Today, Governor Hogan issued a Stay At Home Executive Order, effective at 8pm this evening (attached). The order keeps all previously classified “essential businesses” unchanged.
Upon review of this latest order, TPA’s activities fall under essential business functions. As such, we will continue with the protocols set in place and continue to strongly encourage all telework capable employees to work from home.
Unless otherwise mandated, our buildings will remain open for employees who need to work in the office to perform essential operational functions. Front desk reception will continue to operate under normal business hours. We also expect construction projects to continue as scheduled.
As a reminder, for TPA team members that are classified as “operational essential” (Facility Management / Property Management / Rail Operations / MD Materials Management / Security Operations / Marine Operations), your supervisors will be communicating operational plans with you directly.
We expect “operational essential” functions to continue to operate under normal conditions while observing social distancing and CDC recommended practices such as thorough hand washing and sanitization of work areas. If you are feeling unwell, do not report to work, please notify your supervisor. If for some reason we need to alter operational protocols, we will be taking steps to ensure hourly employee regular weekly pay is not adversely impacted.
We will continue to monitor this evolving situation and will keep everyone informed with a weekly status update as we evaluate the company’s operations during this period of time. Thank you for your patience, understanding and flexibility. We will get through this together!
